Frequently asked questions:
What actually happens at Life Line?
The event takes place around tables where you will have an opportunity to mix and mingle with the other people you are sitting with. This is followed by a short program where you will hear a few stories of how being part of a group has made a difference in peoples' lives. Following this, you will have a chance to connect with a number of different Life Group leaders and decide whether or not you would like to join one of their groups. The event usually runs for 1.5-2hrs with approximately 40-80 people in attendance. We try to keep each Life Line event as informal as possible. We just want you to have fun as you meet some new people!
Do I absolutely have to join a group at Life Line?
No, you will not be forced to sign up for a group at Life Line. If you want to come just to check it out and learn more about Life Groups, that's totally fine. There's no pressure at all. At the same time, this is a "connection" event. We hope that everyone who wants to join a group will take advantage of the opportunity and sign up to connect with a group that night. We don't want anybody who wanted to connect to leave without signing up with a group.
Is childcare provided?
Yes! We don't want anything to prevent you from coming out.
What if I am unable to attend Life Line?
If you cannot make it to the upcoming Life Line event, please plan to attend the next scheduled Life Line event or contact Jon Nauta.
