All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17

It is the most widely circulated and published book in the world. We hear it quoted during church services and the average North American household has two of them. Yet it is often left on our shelves unopened.

The Bible is a book full of timeless truths, teachings and correction for our lives. However, unless we actually open it up and begin to actively read and learn about what it has to say about us and our relationship with God we are going to miss out! At the same time, it can be a very intimidating book to start reading. Where do we start? How do I hear what God is trying to say to me through it?
