The church was always meant to have an impact on the culture of the community it finds itself in. For Southridge Community Church, our ‘Jerusalem’ is St. Catharines and the Niagara Region and our ‘Judea’ is the surrounding area of Southern Ontario and Western New York, or anywhere within a few hours driving distance. Because we desire to see people in our city and region experience Christ’s love firsthand, we have committed ourselves to the journey of community transformation by deliberately pursuing key partnerships and ministries through which to share this love in concrete ways. There are many needs (physical, relational, emotional, financial, spiritual) and many ways people experience isolation from God and each other, and it is our intention to help address these needs, whatever the circumstances people find themselves in.
