It’s been said that, “In the Church, we invite people to sit on 17th century technology to sing 18th century songs with 19th century instruments and we wonder why people think that we’re out of touch!” To many people, the Church feels entirely dated and more than a little irrelevant to our everyday lives. It is the major reason why so many have chosen to disengage from the Christian community without feeling any sense of loss. Is society slowing losing its way or is God really that out of touch?
