Please pray for my sister in law, Val Spenler. She has been battling lung cancer for the past two years. There have been ups and downs, but it had remained fairly stable with medication until recently when the medication stopped working. Fluid is building up in her lungs causing difficulty with breathing. She will be starting weekly chemo as well beginning Thursday, September 10th.

Monday

Take a moment to read Hebrews 1:1-4.

What stands out to you? Is there a line or phrase, maybe even just a word that feels important today? Sit with these verses and read them over as many times as you want. Consider what God might want to reveal to you today and then take a moment to pray and communicate with God.

Guided Prayer
Silence | Be Still

I don’t know how you’re finding the constant noise and endlessly swirling turmoil in the world these days. I often find myself feeling exhausted – like soul-level exhausted – by it. Wouldn’t you like to take a break from it all? An actual, real break? Wouldn’t that feel so good?

Breath Prayer
Christmas Breath Prayer | Love Moves In

Close your eyes right now, and place your hand on your chest overtop of your heart for a minute. Can you feel it beating there? Proof that you’re alive. Proof that God loved the idea of you so much that he actually breathed you into existence.
